Do you have that niggling feeling that there’s something you were born to do, but you just can’t put your finger on it? It’s close, almost on the tip of your tongue, but you’ve spent most of your life trying to figure it out and somehow it always seems to escape you. We checked in with Hay House author, motivational speaker, grounded intuitive mentor and practical intuitive guide Rebecca Campbell to chat about tapping into your soul’s callings and working out your purpose.
It’s never too late and you’re never too old
“Answering the callings of your soul isn’t a one-time act; it’s a constant conversation,” explains Rebecca. She says your soul is continuously calling and gently nudging you in the right direction, if you’re prepared to listen.
Listen to the little calls
Rebecca says that working out your purpose isn’t about finding one single answer, but rather taking notice of all the little calls. “Your soul knows your path. Keep listening to and acting on the whispers each and every day. Before you know it, you’ll be well on your way.”
Follow what lights you up
Rebecca started her journey uploading photos and her thoughts to Instagram for the pure enjoyment of it. The captions soon turned into blog posts and eventually formed her debut book, Light Is The New Black. “It only emerged because I kept following what lit me up without being attached to the outcome,” she explains. “Start small and follow the invisible trail of the things you love – before you know it you will land smack-bang in the middle of your calling.”
